Purpose of JobUSAA is seeking a talented Financial Analyst Lead to work within 100 miles of the following USAA work locations:
San Antonio, Plano, Phoenix, Colorado Springs, Tampa, Chesapeake.
The new hire will lead cross functional teams and influence outcomes.
Teaches and mentors others about complex financial processes.
Leads all CoSA financial process and expense categories to solve complex business problems while performing forecasting, planning, and financial modeling related to income, profitability, liquidity, capital, leverage, asset and liability management or operating expense.
Drives and motivates team members to provide advanced analytics and insights around key business drivers.
Assists management in assigning team tasks and managing workflow.
Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and ensures risks are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.

Responsibilities:
Drives and motivates the team to provide better analytics and insights around key business drivers.
Anticipates opportunities to tackle the most complex and / or unique business problems, providing proactive financial solutions with holistic and forward-looking perspectives to enable better decision making by senior management.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
If Bachelor's degree, 8 years of related experience and accountability for complex tasks and/or projects OR If Master's, 6 years of financial / accounting analysis or related work experience OR If 1 year of progress towards an advanced financial degree or completion of 2 exams towards the CFA designation, 6 years of financial / accounting analysis or related work experienceSubject-matter-expert knowledge of data analysis and relevant technical accounting/finance acumen required.
Subject-matter-expert level of business acumen in the areas of the business operations, industry practices and emerging trends required.

Preferred Skills:

Compensation:
USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive.
You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.
The salary range for this position is:
$97,200-$175,000 (this does not include geographic differential it may be applied based on your work location)Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
Geographical Differential:
Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.
Shift premium:
will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
