Experience building and leading an Agile Software Engineering organization that enables rapid development and delivery of next-generation digital products while running current systems that drive the businessTechnical Leadership:
the ability to inspire your teams to deliver extensible and high quality understanding of microservices, operating in cloud, design principles, relational and non relational data stores and core software engineering skills People Leadership:
engaging with your teams to understand their accomplishments, impediments and creating an inclusive work cultureAbility to collaborate and influence business partners in developing and driving strategic technology roadmaps.
Ability to understand the business, processes and engage in strategy and cost benefit conversationsA history of embracing and incubating emerging technology and open source productsInnovative thinking with a passion for problem-solvingTake ideas and concepts, and visualize them in ways such that they are communicated effectively and compellingly for internal leaders, partners and customers
Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership to a dynamic team throughout the software development life cycleBe part of and collaborate with the business leadership team, architects, and software engineers to drive implementation of new capabilities and applicationsAbility to work independently in a fast paced, unstructured environmentEnsure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality and time to market imperativesLead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of team solutionsBring a passion to stay on top of technology trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology groups, and mentor other members of the engineering communityEncourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversityBasic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree At least 9 years of of experience architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise software in Java, Python or GoAt least 7 years' experience in people managementAt least 5 years' building and leading software engineering teamsAt least 5 years' experience in developing scalable web applications and architectural standardsPreferred
Qualifications:
Master's Degree 12
years' experience leading open source software engineering teams10
years' experience crafting tech engineering strategy, vision and roadmaps8
